I know we all have our opinions and thoughts on to what ’ cheating ’ really is, but this is my perspective on it. I’m sick and tired of people thinking js cos they not ’ sleeping ’ with the other person, it means they ain’t cheating. Bullshit. Cheating can be as simple as a simple text, call, hang out, or even thought ( thinking about cheating ). You can be emotionally & mentally cheating and you not knowing it. The way you talk to your boo shouldn’t be the same you talk to another person: such as sexual content or flirtatious ways.
Put it this way, anything you know that would hurt your boyfriend/girlfriend if they were to every find out.. CHEATING. It may be “ not telling the truth ” but it’s also cheating. Don’t do shit you wouldn’t want your boo doing. It’s simple as that. Karma is a bad bitch yo. I wouldn’t wanna fuck with her.
I keep hearing new bits as they leak and wondering “are these too openly pro-LGBT rights?” and then I realise: The fact that I am even thinking that is SICK AND DISGUSTING as fuck. Me having that thought is proof that the world is in desperate need of a song that is going to be so explicitly in support of gay rights.
Never has a popstar come right out and said “lesbian” “gay” “bi” “transgendered” and even “straight” in a song. In recent years, SEX has been the topic of popular song. Not sexuality. The closest we’ve come to sexuality being explicitly discussed in a pop song (not video) is Katy Perry’s songs, where it seems like a bit of a novelty: the faux-bi-curious “I Kissed A Girl” and her dreadfully homophobic “Ur So Gay”.
The bottom line is: people need to hear this shit, and they need to hear it soon. They need to sit the fuck down and listen. Because what the woman’s got to say is something that has needed saying for generations.
For me, whether Born This Way sounds crap, or the lyrics will sound a bit naf, or whatever complaints people will come up with… It’s all irrelevant, because as the most-followed person on Twitter and most popular living person on Facebook, there’s no limit to just how much influence the song may have.
